Hollywood has had some trouble with remakes lately. From
The Crucible to Psycho, attempts
to freshen up classic films with the Renuzit of today's
hip young stars have been met with thick walls of indifference.
Some would blame this on the fact that the movies themselves
suck royally, but we are not so cynical. We think the film
industry just needs to put a modern spin on the remakes, to
give the audience something they couldn't get with the original.
To wit:

Tron With The Wind
Set in the glory days of the TI-99, this epic story of SCARLETT and
RHETT, two programs thrown together on the same cassette tape, will
fill you with sentiment and/or nostalgia.

Tron-Hur
This is basically the same as Ben-Hur, only the
chariot race also involves those keen light cycles,
and there are about four seconds of "grid bug" animation for
no apparent reason. A classic made even better.

Tron Side Story
The classic tale of Romeo and Juliet set against the background of
a Linux box where two gangs of programs -- one written with the
vi text editor, the other with emacs -- are locked in endless
well-choreographed battle. A timeless saga, now with digital Frisbees.
