Forget congressional redistricting and neighborhood assistance programs. The real reason we need the census is to tell us how many women are named "Candi." In accordance with this burning, itching mandate, the US Census Bureau has released lists of the most popular names in the US. This quiz is based on the women's list of 4275 names, ranging in popularity from "Mary" to "Allyn" with lots of fun names like "Chlorinda" and "Isis" in between. "Steve" and "Gregory" are also in there, so apparently the process is flawed, but it's an interesting list nonetheless.
So interesting, in fact, that we made a quiz out of it.
